Se’yphon Triplett (born April 26, 2004, in Springfield, Massachusetts) is a guard/wing from Springfield who has played high school and college basketball with strong local roots.

High School Career

Triplett was a four-year standout at Putnam Vocational Technical Academy (Putnam Vo-Tech) in Springfield. He earned Player of the Year honors and surpassed 1,000 career points. He was known as a versatile scorer who could handle the ball, shoot from outside, attack the paint, and rebound. One of his signature performances came in February 2021, when he scored a season-high 42 points to lead No. 2 Putnam past No. 3 Sci-Tech, 76-62. He also spent time at Westtown School (Pennsylvania) during his prep career.

College Career

• Stonehill College (2023–24, freshman): Appeared in 15–17 games, averaging roughly 5 points per game. Career-high 16 points (plus 3 steals) came against Miami (FL) on December 21, 2023.

• Frank Phillips College (2024–25, sophomore): Played in 33 games, averaging 6.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in about 17 minutes per game while shooting efficiently.

• American International College (AIC, 2025–present): Currently listed as a junior/senior wing (6-foot-1) on the Yellowjackets roster. Hometown listed as Springfield, MA; high school path noted as Putnam / Westtown / Frank Phillips. He is majoring in business.

Triplett grew up in Springfield, the birthplace of basketball, and has spoken about the strong local basketball culture and the drive of kids from the area to “make it out.” He continues his career at AIC after starting at the Division I level and spending time at the junior-college level.
